The Base Listening Schedule for The Listening Program® Level One
This is the base, or basic, listening schedule for the Listening Program Level One.
Listen for 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the evening. Most people listen when they get up in the
morning and right before they go to sleep at night because it's the most convenient time.
If you happen to miss a morning session, you can do 30 minutes in the evening. You'll listen
for 5 days on and then 2 days off. While listening to TLP, it’s best to just relax and
not do anything. You can journal if you like, but it's best not to read or watch television.
Similarly, children should do nothing, but they can draw if needed.
When listening to TLP, you’ll notice that 15 minutes equals 3 tracks on the CD, referred to as the A, B and C tracks.
Generally speaking, B track is the most treated track. It may sound softer one moment, then louder the next. It
may also sound as if part of the track is missing. This is all normal.
