Health is a gift we sometimes take for granted until a health crisis arises.
Experts agree that in order to become and stay healthy, stressors need to be identified and removed.
Stressors can be emotional, electromagnetic, nutritional and genetic.
Finding these hidden toxic burdens can be challenging but - ultimately - rewarding.
As a Certified Clinical Nutritionist, I am uniquely qualified to help you with all your
nutrition and weight loss needs.
It's an illusion that food nourishes only the body. Food fills us
with the essence of life and can heal the mind, body and spirit.
In Chinese medicine, food is an herb that is used to heal.
Using food as medicine is an ancient concept. For thousands of years, healing traditions from around the world have relied
on food to treat various conditions. Today, scientists continue to uncover the medicinal force of everyday foods.
We believe that to be whole and fully functioning, whole foods and good nutrition is key.
My nutrition services include education and counseling about healthy eating, preventive nutrition and lifestyle choices.
If needed, I can also help with eating disorders.
How Nutrition Consultations Work
Consultations are scheduled for 50 minutes. You will be sent a nutritional
questionnaire via email for you to complete and return prior to our session. Although the questionnaire is optional,
I highly recommend you complete it to get the most out of your session.
At the initial consult, current nutritional status will
be assessed and we will work to make positive, realistic changes in eating habits to help meet health goals.
Follow-up sessions are also scheduled for 50 minutes and are used to reinforce nutrition goals,
estimate current intake, create menu plans and provide additional nutrition information.
Like all of my services, nutrition consultations are completely confidential and tailored to meet individual needs.
Whether you want to improve your diet, lose weight, or confront an eating disorder, my services are uniquely tailored
to help you achieve your goals.
As a nutrition education consultant, I believe that diet is the first line of defense against illness and is a
powerful tool for sustained health, recovery and positive mental attitudes. The relationship between nutrition and a
healthy lifestyle is critical. Therefore I teach workshops on organic/vegetarian foods, emotional eating/diet, healthful
cooking, international healthful menus and other relevant topics. In addition, I specialize
in offering nutritional counseling to families who have children with special needs and addresses the relationship between diet and conditions such as Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, ADHD, and other Learning Disabilities.
I also offer comprehensive nutrition assessments and counseling, including recommendations, recipes, menu suggestions
and seminars (some include cooking classes) that focus on the importance of food and our dietary habits and health.
These services are also available via questionnaires over the internet to long-distance and overseas clients.
